The SAP Forecasting and Replenishment application enables customers around the globe to reduce the risks associated with shortages and surplus, lower costs and better match products on the shelf to specific consumer segments. In January 2012, SAF Simulation Analysis and Forecasting was acquired by SAP. The valuation of SAF Simulation Analysis and Forecastin was undisclosd. Other terms of the deal were not released.
