Volt Bank is a neo bank which has built its branchless digital banking platform in the cloud. It will provide a number of banking services including digital account opening enabled by smartphone facial recognition, transfer of direct debits from existing accounts with other banks to a Volt transaction account, and savings and term deposit accounts. It recieved a restricted banking license from Australian Prudential Regulation Authority in May-2018
